3D Printing and Design Long Term Internship

By the end of this program, learners will gain a thorough understanding of 3D printing technologies, materials, and processes, including FDM, SLS, and SLA methods. They will explore the benefits, limitations, and diverse applications of additive manufacturing across industries, from rapid prototyping to large-scale construction. Participants will acquire practical skills in CAD modeling, SolidWorks commands, part and assembly drawings, and slicing techniques using software such as Ultimaker Cura. The course also emphasizes battery and EV-related applications, quality control, and non-destructive testing of printed components. Learners will be equipped to evaluate machine costs, manage production workflows, and apply 3D printing for innovative solutions in engineering, design, and manufacturing.
